Description
Type 304 stainless steel banding and strapping (or A2, or 18/8) is austenitic steel and is non-magnetic. The chromium provides a corrosion and oxidation resistance, however, 304-grade stainless steel can tarnish.
Stainless steel grade 304 banding is immune to foodstuffs, sterilising solutions, most organic chemicals and dyestuffs and also a wide variety of inorganic chemicals.
